3. Information on this website

The website gives general information about EQS and our services. It is not technical, engineering or legal advice for a particular project, and it should not replace advice based on your specific requirements. We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or current at all times.

4. Our services

Nothing on this website is a binding offer to provide services. Any inspection, qualification, QA/QC or consulting work is governed by the written quotation or agreement for that work. If that document conflicts with these terms, the quotation or agreement applies to the work it covers.

Integrated AIA services are offered through our strategic partnership with Zangula Welding and Quality Consultancy (Pty) Ltd, and may be subject to that company’s own terms.

5. Enquiries and electronic communication

The contact form opens your own email app, and your message is only sent if you send it from there. We are not bound by an enquiry or by an automated reply. An agreement is only formed once both parties have confirmed the work in writing. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically about your enquiry.

6. Intellectual property

The EQS name and logo, and the text, photographs and design of this website, belong to EQS or are used with permission. You may view the website and print pages for your own business or personal reference. You may not copy, publish or use this content commercially without our written permission. Other companies’ names and logos belong to their owners.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the website unlawfully, try to gain unauthorised access to it or its systems, interfere with how it works, or use it to send harmful or misleading content.

8. Links to other websites

We link to other websites for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the website is provided “as is”, and EQS is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the website, from relying on its general information, or from the website being unavailable. Liability for services we provide is dealt with in the quotation or agreement for those services.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes about them fall under the South African courts that have jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, and your continued use of the website means you accept it.
